Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by a Kent Safari representative who will transfer you directly to your booked hotel for a short pre-trip briefing on safety and other guidelines, depending on your arrival time. Other places that you may visit include Ngamba island chimpanzee sanctuary, Botanical gardens, Uganda Wildlife Educational Center (Entebbe Zoo) and Kigungu landing site. However, this can also be arranged at the end of your tour if time Permits.

Kampala City Tour
After breakfast your tour guide will take you on a tour around Kampala city, the country’s central Economic, Administration, Academic and health hub. Areas to visit around Kampala include the Uganda Museum, Uganda Martyrs’ shrine Namugongo, the Bahai Temple, Kasubi Royal Tombs, Art and galleries, Makerere University, Mulago, Owino Market and other slum areas of the city to have a clear picture of the livelihood of communities in ghetto areas.

Departure to Masaka
After early morning breakfast, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby / restaurant for a short pre-trip briefing and drive to Masaka district, with a stopover at the Equator. Upon arrival in Masaka you will meet and be introduced to the locals especially women, girls and the elderly. Here, you can embark on community volunteer activities including engaging in sanitation and hygiene drives, nutrition, sensitization on HIV, drug abuse, avoiding school dropout, teaching local children, civic education, geography, basic economics, visiting local schools, churches and offer painting, fetching water, among other activities that help to better the standards of living of the local communities and students. This experience will also enable you understand the ways of life of the people in rural and remote areas like Masaka and the environs, and it is very educative to both the Locals and the Guests

Masaka City Tour
After Breakfast at the hotel, you will go for light community work, visit the local market, Masaka recreational ground and a tour around Masaka city.

Masaka Historical tours
After breakfast and briefing at the hotel, you will embark on a tour around the town full of historical sites, such as the Nkoni Palace. On this same tour, we can visit the local taxi and bus parks and the local markets for souvenir shopping, returning to the hotel in the evening. Note: Masaka Town is famed for surviving two major Wars. In 1979, Masaka was left in ruins after massive bombing by Tanzania and the Armies that allied to overthrow President idi Amin from power, and the same catastrophe befell the town in 1986 when it was again bombed by then Rebels fighting to overthrow President Milton Obote’s Government. However, inspite of all the above, the town has rather miraculously managed to redevelop, offering a worthy visit and Education Tour.

Community Celebration - Masaka
End of community volunteer program celebration. It can range from a well-staged concert, soccer with local teams and other forms of entertainment.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
After early breakfast, we embark on the approximately 3 hours drive to Mweya region of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will have time to enjoy game drives and boat cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Here, you will have the opportunity of trekking chimpanzees and tree climbing lions in the Kyambura Gorge, with a spectacular view of the picturesque Mt Rwenzori ranges.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After breakfast, our guides will escort you to the wildlife offices for briefing on gorilla tracking. After the briefing, led by trained trackers, you will trek into the thick forest where you will see massive numbers of primates, estimated at about 640 remaining by the wildlife report. Trekking for these amazingly gentle primates may take up to 7 hours, on a longer and high altitude area and may be fairly exhaustive. Gorillas are wild and fairly elusive animals, therefore sighting them may not be a guarantee. However, they are very welcoming and gentle creatures but, as a precaution, guests are advised to keep some distance away from them to avoid injuries in case of an unfortunate event.

Return to Entebbe
After an early breakfast, the driver will meet the guests at the agreed meeting point to head back to Entebbe, arriving later in the evening for resting and relaxation. It is advisable that the booked flights should be departing after 8PM.
