Immunization and Vaccination Services

Vaccines can prevent outbreaks of disease and save lives. When a high proportion of a community is immunized against an infectious disease, the risk of infection for susceptible individuals within that community is reduced. They are protected against that disease because there is little opportunity for an outbreak.

Vaccine-preventable disease has declined by over 99% since the introduction of vaccines. Outbreaks can occur when vaccination levels decrease.

Immunizations are required for babies within the first year of life, toddlers, school going children. Some employers or professions e.g. food handlers require them as well. Our staff can help you determine which immunizations you or your child may need.
